    Despite its high-Alpine locale, the Val Thorens on-mountian restaurant variety and quality is quite impressive. At the top of the docket, you’ll find Chalet de la Marine, accessed by the Cascades chairlift, which offers warming vin chaud (hot wine), incredible fondue and wonderful views.
