    Ski Sölden

    Sölden's slopes directly connected to great glacier skiing via a number of ski lifts and gondolas called Golden Gate to the Glacier. Skiing enthusiasts can ski uninterruptedly from the village of Sölden up to theglaciers at the elevation of 10,600-plus feet. Skiers can enjoy the region's longest trail in Solden, Schwarze Schneide at Rettenbach Glacier, which totals 9 miles and offers a 6,500-plus-vertical-foot descent.

    Sölden ski resort features 142 kilometers (93 miles) of skiing spread over 40 pistes and accessed via 33 chairlifts. The resort offers a huge diversity of slopes for all levels of difficulty as well as perfectly groomed pistes. Adventurous skiers or snowboarders will enjoy exploring the ski area's two glaciers: Rettenbachferner and Tiefenbachferner, which open from September until May.
