What's new in Aspen Snowmass for 2016-17

From après parties to ski school, Aspen Snowmass continues to refine on-mountain experiences for skiers and riders of all ages and levels. Here's what’s new and improved for winter 2016-17:

New dining and après-ski options

Remodeled and expanded to more than twice its original capacity, Snowmass' Gwyn's High Alpine Restaurant now features a market-style eatery, as well as a new bar, wood-burning fireplace and TVs. Also on Snowmass, Lynn Britt Cabin is the latest spot for après parties with food and drink specials, live DJs, giveaways and outdoor, fireside lounge seating.

Improved beginner lessons

The Ski and Snowboard Schools of Aspen Snowmass now incorporate Terrain Based Learning (TBL) into its Beginner Magic Program, which take place in Snowmass and Buttermilk's beginner-only areas. Using perfectly shaped snow features, like mini rollers and pipes, TBL gently introduces first-timers to the sensations of advanced skiing and riding—there's no better way to get hooked!
