Offering an abundance of world-class, on-mountain excursions and events, Aspen Snowmass is a thrill-seeker's haven during the summer. Check out some of the top summer events for the adventurous at heart.

Ragnar Trail Race | June 9–10

The Ragnar Trail Snowmass-CO brings the perfect fusion of trail running, high-country camping and Rocky Mountain beauty. Teams of eight or four will gather to run on three separate mountain trails, or loops, that start and finish at Ragnar Village. If the high altitude doesn't take your breath away, the stunning views of the Maroon Bells wilderness and snow-capped peaks will. The relay-style race won’t be easy, but will be something teams can remember for a lifetime.

Snowmass Demo Days | June 24–25

The third annual Snowmass Demo Days invites mountain bikers of all levels to test out the latest and greatest gear on Snowmass Bike Park. Participation for this event is free and open to the public, with the exception of a bike haul pass for access to Snowmass Bike Park. Participants must be 18+ or accompanied by an adult. It’s also recommended to bring your own pedals and corresponding shoes for the demos. 

Note: All 2016–17 Winter Aspen Snowmass Passholders will received one day of free lift access to Snowmass Bike Park, discounted rentals and a screamin' deal on a Park Ready Clinic session during Passholder Week, June 23-29. Demo Days also includes the Snowmass Concert Series on Fanny Hill, presenting Brothers Keeper with John Popper on June 22.

Enduro World Series | July 29–30

For the second year, Aspen Snowmass will host the only U.S. stop of the Enduro World Series, which continues to uncover the world's best mountain bike destinations. This season includes eight rounds across three continents, featuring venues in Chile, Argentina, France and the U.S. Aspen Snowmass will be hosting round five of the series, bringing some of the best mountain bike athletes in the world to the Roaring Fork Valley. This two-day event blends high-altitude riding with some of the biggest descents in the area.

Audi Power of Four Bike Race | Aug. 5

The 7th annual Mountain Bike Race is the oldest in the Audi Power of Four series, and features a point-to-point course covering the classic single-track on Government Trail, a mix of the new flow trails on Snowmass and the challenging steeps and descents of both Aspen Highlands and Aspen Mountain. The full four-mountain course is 33 miles with close to 10,000 feet in elevation gain, while the smaller, two-mountain course covers 18 miles on Snowmass and Buttermilk.

Audi Power of Four Trail Run | Aug. 5–6

This challenging 50K Ultra race has been named the US Skyrunner Series North American Continental Championship and covers all four mountains in a mix of single-track and dirt-road trails. The event also offers a 25K course along the Government Trail, covering Buttermilk and Snowmass mountains, as well as a Vertical K race up Aspen Mountain.

VIDA MTB Series Women's Clinics | Aug. 5–6

Brought to you by the VIDA Mountain Series, the Snowmass clinics will be taking place at Snowmass Bike Park this summer. The VIDA MTB Series focuses on making women better riders through increased confidence and improved understanding of the relationship between you and your bike. The Snowmass clinics will take over the entire bike park and its surrounding trails to teach all levels of riders. Women are encouraged to come enjoy a fun weekend of bonding with other ladies over bikes, beers, skills and smiles.

Yoga on the Mountain | Aug, 11–13

This three-day yoga retreat features over 60 classes throughout the weekend, offering something new each day. Activities include yoga, meditation, discussion, presentations, hikes, parties, live music and much more. This high-altitude festival will provide all participants with the chance to elevate themselves while surrounded by the stunning mountaintop beauty of the Roaring Fork Valley.
